An all-around game is an all-around game, dependent on stats, not the positions they play or whether or not they were the "top player on his team tonight". Points/Assists/Rebounds, the big three which contribute to a majority of the triple doubles in today's game save the n=1 exception from big men who get 10+ blocks, etc.

Not sure of this year's stats, but last year (2010-2011) in the regular season both Rondo & Lebron had 6 triple doubles, Lebron recorded a seventh during the playoffs. Rondo had 6 triple doubles this season as well.

For this season, their stats are as follows:

    Rondo: 11.9 PPG, 11.7 APG, 4.8 RPG
    Lebron: 27.1 PPG, 6.2 APG, 7.9 RPG

You said hes a better all around player yet the only thing he avereges more then lebron is assists, which is only because hes a PG, their stats just proved my point.

"Sans Lebron" in case you're unfamiliar with this latin terminology, sans in this term of reference means "with exception to"

The point made was regarding Rondo's consistency, which I disagreed with since Rondo can always be counted on for at least a double-double night in and night out, as depicted by his stats. His numbers have further increased in the playoffs, averaging 17+ ppg, 11+ AGP, and nearly 7 RPG.

Great game so far besides the continual horrible officiating. LeBron hit a Clu-clu-clutch three? Yeah. Skip will still rip him tomorrow.

And David! I call the new Chris Bosh gif of that face.

=0, but damn we lost, Bron can hit 5 clutch shots in a row and skip will still rip him, that offensive foul on bron at the end was bullshit, oh well heats in 6, bosh back in game 5 or 6.

I thought the foul was fair, they called it on KG earlier. I hope Bosh gets back because that will limit it to Ray Allen and them making threes because Rondo won't be able to drive as well and pass it back out. I am going to game 5 in Miami for the 3rd game of this playoffs! Super happy, thank god for frequent flier miles.

    ^^

Heart skipped a beat when Wade launched that three, barely rimmed out.

Daniels would've shouldered all the blame if they had lost, missing a free throw and then botching a rebound, he dodged a bullet there haha.

Bosh's return will definitely be instrumental for the Heat, but I'm interested to see how he'll play once returning from his injury. He'll be rusty for sure, and he's probably not at 100%.

I say whoever wins Game 5 wins the series for both conferences.

I say it will come down to game 7 if the Heat man up and play game 5 instead of giving up when they get behind by 15 again. They really shouldnt if thats the case but, we will see.

As rondo said "heat are complaining and crying to referees". It has become apparent that the statement also applies to heat fans. Fuck you. Lebron gets tons of calls.

    as I was saying

    celts over heat

    spurs over okc

    spurs over celts

    lettsss goooo

Heat "fans" (bandwagoners) complaining about the refs sound so stupid right now. Yes, there were a few bad calls, but if you have the reigning MVP on your team as well as arguably the best shooting guard in the game and overall one of the best teams in the NBA blaming it on the refs, then that's just pathetic. You're beginning to sound like those lame Lakers fans.

Every series has been plagued with bad officiating. And every team has complained.

The Heat players are letting it get to them though, they are crying in transition and afraid to drive the ball. Flopping and hoping there is a whistle is ruining the game. That one is for all teams.

Rondo was hit in the face by Wade, that was without a doubt a foul which would've brought Rondo to the line, giving the Celtics the lead had he hit his free throw(s). Instead, the Heat got a mismatch with Rondo down on the other end of the floor resulting in a Haslem dunk. Garnett shot an ill-advised jumper and Wade hit a 3 point play.

Refs were hitting both Celts/Heat with similar foul calls in Game 4. Garnett was charged with a personal near regulation for the exact same thing Lebron did when he fouled out in OT.

The refs decided Game 2, the players decided Game 4.

In more recent news...OKC is looking mighty fine, and Harden's 3 over Leonard was HUGE. Spurs are in some pretty hot water now, Game 6 will be quite the game.

I gotta admit that Wade foul was crazy, OKC surprised me this series, I really thought Spurs where going to win it, game six is at OKC so I think they have a shot at going 4-2.

Agreed, but what's done is done and no need to dwell on it. Series is tied, excited to watch the crucial Game 5.

Spurs have all the more motivation to play better tomorrow, as much of an advantage the thunder have, when the spurs play their best their damn near unstoppable. Look for San Antonio's Big 3 to step it up in Oklahoma City, and keep an eye for SJax who thrives in clutch playoff situations, as shown tonight with his number of clutch 3's down the stretch. If it goes 3-3, Game 7 will be epic.

James Harden is a big time player. When OKC went up late I left the house to pick up a pizza, luckily they had it on a small tv in the lobby. I am unsure about the Spurs responding especially after losing 3 in a row, I think it is too late. I do hope they can pull it out and force a game 7 though.

On another note, hopping on a plane to Miami at 9 in the morning. Got some good seats this time rather than nosebleeds so I am excited. Also, anxious to see if Bosh plays and how rusty/effective he will be.
