Question about botting on a vps

Hey , I'm new here and I've tried to find the answer to this question everywhere but can't seem to get it . I am hoping to purchase a vps from vpsinfinity in the next month , and I was wondering If I have to check up on my bots and restart them whenever they mess up , cause I know VPS run 24/7 while my computer is off , but what if the bot screws up ? My longest time running without a problem has been like 5 and a half hours , something usually messes up after 2 hours . If anyone could help answer this it'd be appreciated .

Question about botting on a vps

If the bot screws up then you fix it exactly the same way as you would on your own computer. A VPS is simply a remote computer and you can access it anytime through a programme which will let you control the VPS just like any other computer. However if it is a Linux VPS then it may be slightly different from lets say windows OS computer. The bots will mess up, they won't run flawless 24/7 so you'll need to fix them occasionally.

Question about botting on a vps

Alright thanks for the answer :) I guess I'll just have to take my time looking for a stable script so I'll have to check it less often .

Question about botting on a vps

Even if you find a flawless script, you will have the 6 hours update.

Another thing to keep in mind is that the new RS client use a LOT of CPU. And on most of VPS if the RAM is dedicated, the CPU is shared with others customers so you should quickly pass their "fair use" policy.

ImO better to go to a dedicated server but it not worth the money...

Question about botting on a vps

You can't bot on a vpsinfinity's vps and with simba you can use smartmanager.

Question about botting on a vps

What exactly do you mean "you can't bot on VPSInfinity's VPS" ? Our servers are specifically catered to Runescape botting. I'm guessing you meant you can't use SIMBA on VPSInfinity - that would be true, as SIMBA is only supported on the Windows OS.

We offer support for PowerBot (RSBot), EpicBot, ColBot, and RareBot.
