Explain PK'ing Terms..

I'm not new to runescape.. But New To PKING..

And have a few Questions.

i have a pure level 40 att/str/hp and 44 range.. what stats should be my goal..?

also can someone explain the term

"Gl" i understand 'good luck' But What Does it mean.. Just a Regular Fight?

also what other terms should i know for my first pking trip (which is planned soon)

Also Whats good, cheap gear?

 

GF = Good Fight

Pile = GangBang (Team on 1 person)

Good gear is:

Rune scimmy and a maple shortbow. (Preferred Adamant Arrows seeing as you have low range)

L2PK: Learn to player kill
PJ: Pile Jump or interrupt someone else's fight
TB: Teleblock
BS: Back-stabber

The basic goals is maxing out str, range, mage, and potentially hp.

Attack should be at 50, 60, 70, or 75, or 80. It entirely depends on how high cb lvl you want to be and what weapons you want to pk with.
Str 80+ is good, but 99 is the goal obviously.
Def 1 for pure, 20 for initiate pure, 40 for rune pure, and 45 for berserk pure but dont make the mistake and level the 45 by hand because the required quests to become a berserk pure give you 45 lvls amount of def xp.
Range you want 70+ for black dchaps for 1 def pures. 99 ofc being the goal.
Prayer you can leave at 1 or get 43, 44, 52. There are also pure quests that give pray xp so don't level it completely by hand if you do.
Mage you should probably get 94 for ice barrage. 99 is just for the sexy cape.
Hp should be low for rushers, medium for pkers, and high for stakers. So right now the hp that you get from training you str and range will do just fine.

Equipment:

coif, amulet of glory, leather body, black chaps, rock climbing boots (additional str bonus) or just boots, avas accumulator/fire cape/team cape, unholy book, ring of recoil/berserk ring, wep can be gmaul/dclaws/dds/dlong/dscimmy/whip/gs/chaotic/msb/darkbow/ddarts/runecbow/karhilscbow/m.javelin and that's all i can think of right now.

"GL?" basically means "do you want to fight?". As for the stats, just get your strength up and if you really want then ranged too.

 

Are you planning on being a f2p or p2p pker? With those stats it's hard to tell.

Either way, you should level your strength significantly, as well as your range. Try to get them both to 80+. If you're a member, get your attack to 60 for dragon weapons, 70 for whip, 75 for AGS or 80 for chaotics.

 

Safe = eating at too high hp(but don't listen to them)
GG = good game
out = no food left

Rusher - somebody who tried killin you usually using specials then running if unsuccessful. It is basically pjing (mentioned above) but without interrupting a fight.

Also, I reccomend you do some F2P Pking once you are close to 40 attack 60 strength to get the general feel of it. You will not make money but you will get the general feel of what to do without any complications (i.e Members can use special attacks, much better weapons, more pjers and rushers)
