Just downloaded this, and it's incredible so far. So glad to have stumbled upon it lurking Sythe. Keep up the updates!

 

^can't edit my above post, but I'm having problems getting the 1-click lookup to work. I've tried middle clicking, as well as hovering and using a hotkey but nothing works. Any help?

From a first look I loved you're client, and in fact continue to enjoy and use it but here are some problems/possible improvements I came up with:

1) IRC option: not to rip of swift kit but it's very useful. Maybe a TS3 hookup too if it's possible.
2) Get rid of the Jagex-copyright/social media plugs below the game screen. They take up space.
3) In-kit browser, once again similar to SK, it would fit in very well with the whole tab layout. I know an internal browser is one of the things you deem as unnecessary in your OP, but I think it's defiantly worthwhile and (pardon my ignorance here) shouldn't be too difficult to add, nor will it interfere with other features.
4) Add Photobucket as an image uploader. As far as I've noticed it's a lot more popular among the RS community than TinyPic/Imageshack.
5) Your world-clock is off. About -[4-5] hours. (I live in the EST time zone but I have to set it to Hawaiian to get the right time).
6) As I mentioned in the above post, the 1-click-lookup (one of your client's main appeals) isn't working for me. I haven't read everyone else’s posts yet so maybe this is a personal issue but it doesn't seem so. [Later] Seems to be a reported bug caused by playing in fixed mode. This should be your top priority update in my opinion, as a lot (majority?) of people play in fixed, and the 1-click-lookup is one of the main draws of QK.
7) ADV Log- doesn't work at all, obviously an issue with the recent RS changes. I'm sure you're already working on this.
8) World Map- separate download(?) I tried downloading it while I was logged into the lobby. It came up as an error with an option to "delete" the current map, but it stayed frozen on that menu. I rebooted and tried "downloading" the map while it was open in RS and got the same error.
9) When you manually close a Runescape tab, with your account still logged in, your acc stays logged in until it gets auto-logged off.
10) Gallery: would be nice to be able to navigate from photo to the next with arrow keys or clicking instead of having to close/open one by one.
11) Video: its area of recording is preset and customized to the full-screen RS window. Should include an option for players recording in standard (most people record in this). Also some sort of very basic WMM-esque editing program to let you cut and paste clips together and upload them to youtube would be awesome. A paint-like program for screenshots would be good too.
12) Auto-log in: It didn't verify my username/password combination even they were correct, and further did not display my character in the self-log in menu. In fact none of the account-based tools work since I can't get the client to accept my account (including GE, highscores track etc)
13) After customizing my account etc I had too many tabs open and qk went unresponsive. I had to force shut it down and my customized things were reset, not really a big deal but you would expect the profile options to be saved.
14) Profile Image doesn't take .jpg or .bmp pictures? Not a big deal, just have to re-save pics in .png bit of a hassle for people bad/clueless with computers.
15) Should prompt you to create/customize a profile when you first start it up. Maybe it's just my personal preference but I think it'd be helpful.
16) Option not to record mouse in video/ not save it in screenies. While we're on the topic of mouses maybe add a selection of cursors? Bit childish but it would be fun.
17) A Youtube/video player imbedded in the side (comes out when selected of course, to not clutter up the main screen). Would be useful to be able to select YT vids to watch or open up (torrented/saved) movies in-client to avoid that RS-Screen vs Entertainment window


Everyone loves some good feedback, so here are some things I love about QK:

1) The layout, it's simply fabulous. Very clean but also inviting.
2) 1-click lookups (or at least the promise of them, sounds incredible)
3) Easy recording/screenshots and a nice gallery form as well as hotkeys to start/stop/take
4) Easy to use and convenient [simple] auto typer. Also a very easy to use and effective (great features) [advanced] second auto typer. Also hot-keyable.
5) Easy download/setup as well as good instructions (for the most part) to get you started and using the features.
6) The existing Dung-Stat comparison feature is a great idea, so is the potions thing.
7) The "OH SH-" hotkey. Every Runescape-related accessory needs this.

Middle click instant lookup isn't working for me anymore, neither is the item lookup (middle click).

I really like Quantum Kit, I use it whenever I do play, I just wish it didn't crash as much as it did.. which isn't that much, but it does get annoying from time to time.

 

Is the Ge lookup working for anyone? It won't seem to load for me.

I have one space in my name.

 

I ment the Player Offer lookup.

 

Last I checked Flaming Idiots was working on other projects which took priority, it's possible he just hasn't had time to update in a while.

I wish he came back to this, this is honestly the best client I've used.

Maybe I should give him a nudge. .
