    How have you changed?

I've learned a lot of things out of Sythe.
Be respectful, help others, be legit...

I've also met a lot of nice people

I've learned to be more professional in front of people.

Also... I learned that we gotta open our eyes sometimes. It's good to think everyone that everyone's your friend but you gotta open your eyes one day. ;)

    How have you changed?

Sythe is a great community and I'm really proud to be a part of it. It hasn't affected my life that much, but still great.

    How have you changed?

How have you changed since joining sythe? How has it affected parts of your life? Do you regret it? Was it the best decision of your life? What?

I have changed, it has not affected my real life at all.
Of course no one posting on this regrets joining sythe or else they would not be posting here.

IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST INTERNET DECISIONS EVER.

    How have you changed?

Sythe has convinced me 80% of its users are out for themselves and will constantly try to scam you of your shit.

Basically made me a better salesman/buyer.

    How have you changed?

I've learnt that ALOT more people than you would think scam. If your going first to the other trader and they dont have like 30+ vouches, they will nearly always scam. Bit sad :(

    How have you changed?

I'll will start of by saying that I have known Sythe for many many years, but never wanted to join due to all the negative feedback I heard from other people. EVERY person I have talked to said they got scammed. I then decided to join in January this year because I had to make an account to buy some gold from R2 at the time.

I'd say though I had more positive effects from this, as I have gotten into rare names and have A TON of them in my collection, otherwise I would never have before. Was pretty entertaining my first few months on Sythe and the rare name business. Also have met alot of great people including many friends I could call that I generally talk to, even those who you can trust regardless of what I am going through right now. I've also found out that RS gold is like real life money in a way and actually does have value and can be used for real life items as well.
Also have learned business aspects and learned from all the mistakes I have done through here, as well as that this is a risky business and it's always possible to have a trade go wrong in the end.

The pretty much worse part and really the only time I truly had a big emotional problem was getting scammed around $1000 dollars a few months ago. I now can't trust pretty much anybody even my real life friends or many other people I have met. Really changed my opinion on trading and doing business in the Runescape blackmarket. I have only been scammed through Runescape blackmarket as well, never even been scammed in Runescape itself, otherwise I never had any problems with anything else when it came to the internet. I should have known from the beginning that it was a big risk to begin with. I only right now can trust myself and most of my family due to it being $1000 and how emotionally fucked I was for a couple of days since the scammer really manipulated my mind. Sucks pretty much especially when the scammer says he will pay you back and keeps saying it over and over just screwing you over while enjoying doing it. :(

Also I did improve my grammar and typing skills on the internet beyond from what I originally used to type like. I blame it on text messaging and damn social networking when I typed "lyk dis" and pretty much was overall disgusting. Sythe gave me the edge and helped me realize how to formally type and that typing like an idiot is really not "cool". I also gave up on text messaging as well so that could be a big reason on my improvement.

Oh and I also have been able to actually learn to type long ass paragraphs on most of my posts lol instead of taking the short bus and typing only 5 words or so. It seems it also has taken over my real life as I tend to write stories and random stuff when I feel like to. :)

    Just lol'd at this post.

    How have you changed?

I wouldn't say it was the best decision in my life, or I was totally changed by it
But sythe made me wiser regarding black market trades :)

    How have you changed?

I wouldn't see sythe being what changed me but Runescape as a whole. Sythe did teach me, or better yet helped me improve my judgement with people and trustworthiness

    How have you changed?

When I first came to Sythe it was not as big of a market site as it is today. Since then I have grown up a bit, learned how to trade with people and who not to trade with. And lastly the basics of the classic scar bots :p . I think Scar was the main reason I joined Sythe but I stayed because of the community.

    How have you changed?

Sythe has taught me how to handle my money a lot more carefully. After getting scammed the first few times, I have learnt to be a lot more cautious with who and how i'm dealing with my money.
