Yeah, so in my English lesson, we had to write a LOVE poem, and my friends all dared me to write about CoD. They told me to use the excuse of "My lust for CoD" if he asked why I had written about a game. So, what do you guys think about it? My teacher said I had real talent, even if it was slightly off topic
Too much CoD for good
In
the slums
of Brazil beneath the
Lamb of God’s eyes, Throwing
knives and semtex fly through the skies
I swear to you solemnly I tell you not a lie, Call of Duty,
Modern warfare 2 is the apple of my eye.
Chopper Gunner, Predator, AC-130,
These all boost my kills,
my tactics aren’t dirty,
8 days I’ve spent with you none that I regret,
35 kills in a row, my highest streak yet,
I’ll always stay faithful, until your sequel,
Along came Paul Flynn, my only equal,
Teamed up with me to show our love,
Down came my nuke, high from above.
GAME OVER
Back ground info:
Paul Flynn is a friend who I play with.
I have in fact had 8 days game time.
35 KS is my highest.
I have also called in a nuke before. Several times.
Can you answer these?
What did you notice?
Can you explain the line "under the Lamb of God's eyes"?
In the first Stanza (paragraph in poetical terms) do you notice anything about it's shape?
What are you thoughts?
Have you made anything of a similar idea?
