So I finally decided to buy an xbox, and as it turns out it's a bigger piece of shit then I thought. Unfortunately, I've got more friends playing xboxs, so I'm stuck with playing it.


So, anyways, Is there any way I can get my usb mic to work with my 360? Is it possible to get a USB -> whatever size jack the 360 uses?

Well a 360 has 3 usb ports(2 on the front and 1 on the back) but to be honest i have no idea if you can use a usb mic with a 360, sorry i know this dosent really help you i was more replying to the "whatever size jack the 360 uses" part

no you cannot, if anything I would recommend buying a turtle beach x1. It works both on PC and xbox and is doubles as a fairly high quality headset.

I highly doubt a usb mic will work, unless you spend a decent amount of money on weird attachments.

usb->orange mic thing-> xbox mic. I know that's possible but impractical and probably wouldn't work very well.

As Owain Jones said , you cannot get it to work ive had a fair few in my time and its been the most annoying thing ever, the most comfy headsets are usb, xbox = fags.

I've already got p21s which is why I'd like to get it to work via usb >.<

Was considering calling Turtle beach and telling them my headset was broken and trying to get them to send me a pair px21 in replacement, which will work on ps3 and xbox >.<.

I understand what you want to do I think. Does the P21's plug into the back of the TV? If so, the only thing you can do is set the chat to play through TV and then have the standard microsoft headset around your neck. Then you can hear chat through your headset and talk through the microsoft headset.
