Default flashing xbox 360 drive
First off, I DO NOT PLAN ON PIRATING GAMES.

Does anyone here have any experience flashing xbox 360 drives? I am considering flashing mine to play game backups. I have 2 disks that are barely readable and will soon be unplayable. I do not have enough room on my harddrive for both of them, so i am considering flashing my xbox's dvd drive.

Most of the tutorials i have been able to find on the internet are outdated. I know that over a million consoles have been banned from xbox live in the past. Is there currently any firmware that is 100% undetectable?
