So almost 1 time a week, I get a message from my friends saying that they are quitting/ selling their xbox, and I turned out to sell my just a few days ago, so your guys opinions do you think that xbox gaming is going downhill for now, or is this just leading up to the 720?

I personally believe it's leading up to the 720 and people get tired of playing so they sell their consoles unless he's moving onto PS3... but then again, people with PS3's also do the same. It's not declining, that's for sure.

Ive received or noticed zero activity/evidence that would suggest Xbox is failing. None of my friends have quit/converted to PS3, and I've never received a message from a random guy on my friends list stating this either.

ehhhh I'm almost kind of agreeing with you on this one. though it's not going downhill by any substantial amount, it just seems like none of my friends even play their xbox anymore. even i hardly play xbox, as it's gotten real boring. hardly any new, fun games come out that aren't awful fps. microsoft needs to put out a new console since it's been the same shit for just about 7 years now. not to mention kinect sucked dick unless you were a little kid.

I literally posted this and lost my laptop in the same time-frame so wasn't able to get back to you guys, but I surely agree that everything is leading up to the 720, I'm just hoping that it beats whatever playstation is going to put out, If they are going to put out anything or just keep advancing PS3

Sony will definitely make a PS4. If you take out the components of an xbox 360 or a PS3 and compare it to a computer, they're not really even that flash. There is constant room for improvement and games graphics could be a lot better if producers would spend more time on them (they don't want to currently cos they want to push out the game as fast as possible for more profit). I'd say the 720 will come out first since its had the longest developmental time and that they always alternate. Ps1, xbox, Ps2, Xbox 360, PS3 etc
