WoW Questions :]
Alright, well I guess I better ask you guys some of the questions I have.
I'm going to get WoW tomorrow, some people have offered me recruits which i will be looking into, still don't understand it THAT much.
But anyways, when you start the game up, you get to choose your character... now I played RuneScape alot, and ended up making a main, which i then went to a pure. So like I messed my main up etc...
And considering theres so many things to choose from, like I know a few, Arcane Mage, Resto Druid (dunno what resto means, does it mean restore? lol), Warlocks, Paladins, and something Feral haha gotta look on youtube again...
I've never seen the game before lol :/ I wana know what kind of character I should be... I dont wana pick something like a Paladin then i see a Rogue and I wana be it :S?
Bleh.. Should I just try some Trial and Error ways.. or walk around for a while on a noob and see what looks cool and best suits me xD?
I have a private server that I know of that I will be playing on so I won't be on the international servers. Its free so :] suits me, and all my friends play on it, so it'll do.
Anyway, some advice would be much appreciated :] any tips etc...
Also i hope it works on my PC, my friends said that the reQs weren't that high and i saw someone running on a PC worse than mine so :] Got my hopes up. Well it can support games like Battlefield
EDIT: How much is WoW per month in USD?
ohwell, please help mah xD haha..
Thanks <3

Re: WoW Questions :]
You still need to buy the key, which costs around $10, this will allow you to gain full access to wow. If you're wondering which character to pick i suggest you look at some youtube videos and see what suits you best. As a first time player i think you should be looking at either Hunter or Druid. The 'arcane' 'feral' bit you are talking about is the spec which you can change and you only get it at lvl 10 so don't worry about that just yet.

Re: WoW Questions :]
Death Knight's can crit over 10k if geared properly and heal themselves in the process. (Blood Specced).

Feral druid would be best, they've got one of the best dps in the game and can heal (however it's not adivised to heal in combat)
Other advantages will be you can go in stealth and they can't see you, druids look cool

He's new, therefore can't make a DK.

Re: WoW Questions :]
You should choose your class based on what kind of play style you desire!
If you're into fighting close up with melee weapons, be a rogue, warrior or death knight.
If you prefer shooting people down with spells, be a shaman (my personal favourite), druid or mage.
If you enjoy keeping people at a distance and shooting at them with guns/bows, be a hunter.
If you enjoy watching people die slowly and suffering, be a warlock or a priest.
There's a few classes that can heal. These are shaman, paladin, priest and druid.

All classes have their pros and cons in both PvE and PvP. Like I said before, it just depends on what kind of play style you prefer.

Pally's are terrible until 40.
I think you should be a warrior until you get the basics down, I think all WoW beginners should start as a Warrior, and as you progress through the game, you'll understand everything alot more. After you've been playing for a few weeks you'll understand how to use a mage/priest/druid/warlock/shaman.
Hunters are also a good starting class.
Rogue was my first class, but I had trouble with it so I just made a warrior. :P

As for a class, I prefer Alliance, My opinion is that they look better than Horde, I find Horde ugly and cannot stick with them for very long. So that narrows it down to Draeni, Night Elf, Gnome, Human, and Dwarves.
Good luck! Hope this helped a bit

Re: WoW Questions :]
I think the best starting character is hunter or warlock you get the feel of the game as you progress normally without much error or setback because both don't require much money I started a new character and got to lvl 40 still wearing mostly white stuff and was lvling just fine...But atm don't even attempt at DK nor pally there are still alot of pallys running around even though they've been nerfed pretty bad and half of wow are DKs now (including me who's still sitting at 7-8k crits due to the fact that the vast majority of wow are dks)

Re: WoW Questions :]
Roll Rogue and thank me later
Seriously though I'd say you should decide on a caster or Melee as your first decision, and if you're having difficulties choosing between the two then you should roll a Druid.

Re: WoW Questions :]
I rolled a Mage, Shaman, and Hunter as my first characters (I started a week or so ago). I've tried every class now and I probably like my Shaman best because it's easier to do quests alone and it's a diverse class with a lot of fun abilities.

A 10k Crit in PvP is pretty significant. No class will do that without the proper gear. Paladins can do wonderfully as retribution, a Feral Druid can do good damage and do minor heals on themselves. Warlocks can make the opponent unable to attack them, whilst draining their health for themselves. A Paladin or druid would be great for your first character as they are both VERY dynamic in the sense of being able to do damage, heal, and tank monsters.

You ruin my life when you do things like that. ;D
But a kill shot 10k crit is relatively... useless.

I agree,Since Kill Shot requires the Enemy too be under 20% Health I doubt anyone has 10k hits at 20% health.
