Is WoW Fun?
i've played runescape for years now, but have never tried WoW...Just wanted to know...Is it THAT fun?

It's addicting. Each person has their own definition of fun, so you'll have to try it out for yourself. 
However, I played Runescape for years, and tried WoW. Within a few days I was hooked. WoW is just so much better than Runescape I can't even compare them.

Yes, WoW is absolutely amazing.
For all of the things that are now available in the game, it seems like it will never end. With being able to hold 50 characters between all realms, and 10 per Server, your adventure could truly never end, imo.
There are many things you can encounter while playing the game, such as:- Players
- Reputation
- Instances
- Leveling
- Battlegrounds
- Professions
- Achievements
- Questing
...and the list goes on.
You choose what you want to do, and make your game experience your own.

Yeah. RuneScape is just shit, still can't beleive i played the thing for so long. WoW Is just endless hours of fun.

I decided to try and play it, I found the quests repetitive.
It is a large world indeed but I didn't find any fun in the leveling of my characters and got bored.

I've played RS since '02. Tried wow in November '08. It was alright. It's a good game and all but I like RS better.
But TBH, it wasn't worth the money I spent.
I'd rather pay $5-10 for a RS subscription.
EDIT: To answer your question, it's pretty fun.

its so fun i used to play rs and i stopped for this if you do try WoW tell me i can recruit u and we get 3x xp and i can teach you the ropes

I've played rs for 5 years now.
Decided to try wow, played for 3 weeks was fun at the beginning
then it just got boreing, quest and leveling your character isn't very fun.
So i'm canceling my membership still got like 3 weeks left though.
Imo, rs is better, wow is just bigger, quality>quanity.

I played WoW for over 3 years and it was fun but when i finally quit and after that tried to play a bit i couldnt play it anymore, it was so booring and all. New expansions (I played TBC barely to get lvl 70 and quit) and wotlk leveling is so booring.
If you are playing for the first time its very much fun and addicting.

Also a lot more fun if you have a friend to play with. And as far as repeditivity goes umm i dont think any game can get worse than rs in that category lol.

Sigh... Hearing shit about WoW from people that never leveled past 60 is irritating. You know little of the game, and certainly not enough to give a detailed insight.

Uhh...any decent player can get to level 60 within a week with Recruit a Friend. I don't care if you don't have the capacity to level past 30, but don't smear the game when you haven't played 95% of the content. |
