[FAQ] Requesting Help
I'm trying to finish up my WoW Guide, and hopefully have it out by the end of the Month. I'm asking for help for any basic questions that people would generally ask when starting the game. Anything is acceptable, and the effort appreciated.
You will be included at the end of the Guide for your assistance, and you may also help with writing parts, or sub-articles of the Guide later on.
Send me a PM to do so please.
Thanks! ツ

-I made a double post on accident so i had to write somthing new here.
So also include that
Once you pick a realm you can't switch once you pick it.
Also how the horde and they ally cannot talk to each other.
And how if it was pvp you can attack.
Also you should explain what BG is.
Talk About what lvl mounts come.
what mounts are.
how much mounts are.
Explain to them what Professions are and Secondary Skills are.
what your class Proficiencies are.

Re: [FAQ] Requesting Help
Well for the starting player, you generally would be focused on levels 1-20? I would include all your basics that those characters are bound to encounter.
-Class Specifics
-Combat
-Leveling Information (Quests > Grinding, etc.)
-User Interface (Options to customizing your interface)
-Professions
-Raiding Basics
-Class Role in Raid / Party (Personally find this annoying)
If you need help on writing anything please let me know, I would love to write something for the guide.
Note: I understand some of this was written above, I just went with what came from my head.

Re: [FAQ] Requesting Help
From personal experience with new players on our realm, I've found that the key struggle with them is trying to make them understand what gear is suitable for them.
For example, feral druids -> agility/stamina.

Hm. That will be quite a hard thing to include in the Guide, I suppose.
I was thinking about having an entire Guide, which is somewhat vague, but to the point. Then, with the Classes that are there (Rogue, Druid, Priest, etc.), I have them linked to another page, which is like an in-depth Guide to the Class, and what they have to offer to Dungeons, Raids, and most importantly, to the World of Warcraft.
Thanks to ßl◘w '* sm◘k* and fut as well, as your suggestions have been noted, and greatly appreciated.

Terminology.
That has to be one of the biggest things in the game.

Re: [FAQ] Requesting Help
tbh; when I first started playing, people were talking to me. I tried to say something back, but a whole bunch of random stuff came up on my screen instead. Then, by chance, I figured out that typing "/" brought up the text box, so for the first day that I played WoW, to bring up the textbox I did that.... I'd include how you have to hit enter to bring up the text box.

Re: [FAQ] Requesting Help
Explain what an "instance" or "dungeon" is. 90% of the people that join have no idea what it is if they have never played before and continue to not get it until they do Deadmines or such. It would be nice to know and plan out as you are a low level when you are going to do instance runs.

Re: [FAQ] Requesting Help
What CC'ing is, how to use abilities. For ex. if you start off as a rogue, you can press 2 for Sinister Strike. How to set talents, How to Put abilities into action bars.
