I am currently a Multimedia & Web Design student in college called "Monaghan Institute Of Further Education".

As a part of my course i have to make a 6page website about irish bands.

The buttons on the left side are pretty hard to read. I'd change font if possible.

Your organization is genuinely perfect. The logo is in the right spot, the nav is in the right spot, the content is in the right spot... Everything flows well, isn't off-position, or anything like that.

Your presentation is lacking, however. It's a bit busy with contrasting colors causing the eyes to not focus. Your logo/banner blends with your background, your content header is an off-color, your navigation is unreadable, and the over-complexity of it is unnecessary.

Your placement is not in question on this, for sure, you've got it down. Work on your colors/design a bit. The layout is nice, the theme is what's bad .

Maybe some gfx people will be able to provide more detailed feedback as to what I mean.

Well my teacher said everything is ok execpt the part where i have to put media, i don't know how to make scroll down bar on the side

it's not too bad for a new beginner I guess.
you should work on the text and navigation of the page, to make it more clear and user friendly.

this is amazing advice to him, alsoget your designer to design to a 1400 width and make the content area 990px.. seems very un scaled!
