Hi all. I got scammed $35 by Phaser here. I went through with the a deal with him here because he seemed trusted here. I guess looks can be deceiving.

Here are screenshots from the deal:







Here is the PM he sent me to verify that it's him:




And 10 minutes after the deal went through, Paypal transaction gets reversed.



He says it's because his Paypal account got limited.
This is simply not true, because when your account gets limited, the funds will say "Payment under investigation by Paypal".
This clearly showed that the owner of the account filed an "unauthorized payment"

Meaning he either paid with a hacked/stolen Paypal account, or he logged into his own account with a VPN and filed a dispute after the payment.

Either way, I'm out $35 and the scammer got my gifts.
Really stupid of him since I already contacted steam and they're going to disable the gifts anyway.
