Why being an Atheist is wrong.

You're assuming all Atheists are out of the closet.

You're assuming that all Atheists live in communities that give them hard a time. What if they lived in a community that accepts Atheism as a social norm? Your argument would be invalid.

You're only taking short term physical pleasure and pain in consideration.

You're also assuming anything that brings pleasure is right, and whatever that brings pain is wrong.

A disbelief in something can NEVER be 'wrong'. And a lot of things can't just be put in two categories.

Did you not notice that I used the words what and if followed by a question mark? No because you were too busy being arrogant. I never claimed anything numbnuts, calm down.

Why being an Atheist is wrong.

You seem to think that if a hypothetical 'war' were to happen, we'd be miraculously out of the firing lines of both sides? I would think we would also be targets for disbelief in the opponents particular god.

Adding to this, we only live once. In the entire span of the universe and time itself, we will only live once. Spending our one precious existence believing in something, and ignoring the world around us is a terrible thing. People cannot be content with the beauty of the world, or of other people or the universe, and instead look towards our natural greed and hunger for a second, eternal life. I've worked my way off topic here and forgotten what I was saying, so I'll leave it there.

Why being an Atheist is wrong.

Wouldn't it be less rational to believe in a being with no proof whatsoever that does absolutely nothing other than create a utopia in our mind than to not believe at all?

You can't say ghosts are caused by religion.
Atheists and Agnostics can say its the spirit of the dead. Just like anyone else

Maybe you should re-look the post - http://sythe.org/showpost.php?p=5843769&postcount=8

It was directed towards 'things that can't be explained by logic.'

Why being an Atheist is wrong.

It is ignorant to blatantly deny a higher entity, it is ignorant who step blindly into religion.

Why being an Atheist is wrong.

Religion is a very hard to explain topic. I see nothing wrong with Atheist, they use more common sense and are easy to get along with people. I prefer to stay with no religion, it's to annoying to me, I know somehow earth and other planets was created, and there was a more logical way then what some religions say.

Falling to your knee's and warshipping something you think but have 0.1% fact is real is just crazy in my opnion. Chruchs and such are a money sceme. You can read loads of bibles and see they all disagree with each other.

My opinion religion was created to keep people from killing/stealing, but to help and be kind. Some people can do this easy, some people like to be thereself and not live their live by a book that has 'stories' that make no real sence. If these other religions was so kind they would respect the views and wishes or others, it just shows, it's pointless and useless to live by a book.
