What was the last movie/TV show you saw?

Name of the film: The Amazing Spiderman.
Brief review/thoughts: I absolutely loved this film. I think this is way more well done than the original three. Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, etc. make such a wonderful cast. Mark Webb did a brilliant job directing this film. I can't wait for the sequel, I definitely recommend you see this movie. I'm considering watching it again.

Brief review/thoughts: It started off real fun and hilarious for about the first one third of the movie, then the rest was mainly just boring and drawn out, ending surprisingly abruptly.

Haha, how funny, the last movie i saw was also 21 jump street.
it was pretty awesome, but you kind of knew what was coming before it happend. The end was pretty awesome, where they will be going to college.

Brief review/thoughts: I absolutely loved this film. Generally any type of animation completely looses my attention, however this movie was by far one of the funniest movies I've ever seen If anyone has had doubts about seeing it I can assure you that you will not be disappointed, I would gladley watch it again and believe it could be depicted as thee funniest movie of the year.

Brief review/thoughts: Hilarious movie, and very similar to Ted. It's about 2 guys who find an Alien that speaks English and they go on an adventure. 9/10.

 

A couple of movies I saw recently that I wanted to mention.
Name of the film: Requiem for a Dream
Brief review/thoughts: I've seen the movie before, but it was late at night (perfect setting for this movie) and I hadn't seen it in a while. This is a very good movie and I highly recommend it.

Name of the film: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011 - US Version)
Brief review/thoughts: This was the US version of the film, which I thought was much better than the Swedish version (although it was still fairly decent). I liked the actors who played the characters more than the Swedish version, especially Rooney Mara's depiction of Lisbeth. While the movies were very similar, the US version had a few extra scenes, the scenes were more developed, and I thought the actors did a better job. I highly recommend this movie.

Name of the film: The Dark Knight Rises
Brief review/thoughts: As ever, Nolan is a genius. It was a brilliant film, and the ending is great, it ties up wonderfully with the previous two films. But, I have to say that it is not as good as The Dark Knight. I wasn't expecting it to be, though, since it's predecessor is arguably the greatest comic book film ever made. Rottentomatoes says it wonderfully: "The Dark Knight Rises is an ambitious, thoughtful, and potent action film that concludes Christopher Nolan's franchise in spectacular fashion, even if it doesn't quite meet the high standard set by its predecessor." Nonetheless, it's still a great film, and I think anyone should watch it.

Name of the film: Casa de mi padre
Brief review/thoughts: Pretty funny (not the typical Will Ferrell movie though), and even trippy at times. The whole point of the movie was that it was supposed to be cheesy, but they just barely managed to pull it off without over doing it, although there were a couple of instances when Will's usual schtick didn't really fit the style of the movie. Overall worth watching.

Name of the film: Magic Mike
Brief review/thoughts: Even though I am a straight male, I decided this movie is probably going to be funny as hell, so I went and seen it. I was not let down at all, the movie was funny as hell! Channing Tatum is a pretty good comedy actor honestly, 21 jump street was probably the funniest movie I have ever seen.

Brief Review/Thoughts: With big shoes to fill after 'The Dark Knight', Nolan ended the trilogy perfectly, with an outstanding concept and an excellent cast; this indeed is one of my favorite films.

Brief review/thoughts: Unexpected Ending, Good story, Not as "scary" as people say but nonetheless it was a good movie but didnt cause me to "jump" like The woman in black did.
