    What is death?

Well, life is much easier to describe then death. Do people really die when they 'die'? And I'm not talking about it on a religious level, I'm talking about it on a scientific level. Is death overcome able?

    What is death?

I was curious on an actual scientific idea of death so I had asked two of my professors in different fields (One in biology and the other in chemistry) and I liked the difference in opinions based simply on the variation of their studies.

    My biology professor said:
Death is when all functions to sustain a living being halt and there is a 0 percent chance of recovery from this state.

    While my Chemistry Professor said:
Death is the loss of the connection between the mind and body. (Thus implying brain dead victims being defined as dead)

This may hold little to no significance to this topic but I just find it amusing that the mere definition of death is changed simply because of the different levels of actual science you teach.

    What is death?

This just proves I was right about many different arguments in the medical world about the topic.

    What is death?

    Rebirth is being born....

I personally believe death is a lost of concious thought. Your body still may be working, but, one your concious is gone, your not much better then a dog.

    What is death?

A dog would probably be better since he can play fetch lol. But what about having conscious thought but not using it or just regressing it? Would this be like faux-death then? Just trying to figure that part out.

Oh well obviously that would be true considering that almost everyone has there own basic view on death, and just because people can back it up with some form of scientific or medical degree just means they have a better argument for their own opinion lol.
Hard to say in the end just what death is, im pretty sure alot of people would agree that calling it the end, the clearing at the end of the path, salvation, etc etc. would be correct but there's just to many variations of 'the end' to count that even conflict. Hell it can even be seen as the meaning of life.
Just a hard topic that we somehow got some entertainment for awhile off of lol.

    What is death?

Still its a very neat subject that's just another one of those questions where its kinda up to you to decide, no one can tell you differently, because there's no answer...yet.
