Avi skip/lagg detection?

Hi, I was recording a show on Hulu with TuneBite 7, and well it usually detects if the video is buffering and would temp. stop recording, but on some parts it didn't and left a gap of 5-10 seconds of 1 frame. I was wondering, is there any program that can detect if there is a frame that is longer then a certain second, it would remove it? Thanks a lot.
