Same IP for more users

Hi guys,

I've started College now, and Sythe appears to be unblocked. So I can be more active on the forum.

However I've noticed that one, maybe more of my classmates use Sythe as well, on different accounts of course.

I know accounts are not allowed to interact with each other on the same IP, however if they PM me or something and I don't respond, could I still be banned for this? I have no intention of interacting with them. I'm just concerned for my account getting banned due to my classmate's accounts interacting with me.

 

You're allowed to interact with people you know in real life, but avoid the following:

-Bumping each other's topics
-Vouching for each other (If you MUST vouch, you have to include that you know the other party in real life, or you'll face punishment for Self Vouching)

Other then the two points listed above you should be fine, you're allowed to participate in discussion together and goof off in the spam forum if that's what you're asking.

 

You won't all have the same ip. They will be similar in that they're routed through the school, but they're not the same. If you ever get banned (you won't), in your appeal make clear that you are on a large network at a college.

 

ok, thanks guys. I doubt they'll be doing any trades on College, and any trades I do won't be done in college. I rarely bump people's topic's anyway. I doubt they'll use Sythe much. Thanks for answers guys, this can be locked now.

 

I suggest not telling them you use sythe, and staying as far away from their accounts as possible. Just make sure to let staff know that you aren't the only one using the IP in case one of them gets banned so that you will not be at risk if one of them is banned.

 

They've seen me on the site. You can make it out from a mile away. I'll PM a Global now just to let them know, I have no intention of going near their accounts anyway.
