Pretty simple question, what anti virus do you primarily use?

Price etc. is obviously not an issue.

Currently I can't decide between Kaspersky and NOD32, but I'd like to hear other opinions.

I've used Kaspersky for the past 3 years and I've found it to be extremely good, I've never got a major infection in that time. What I find kind of annoying about it, are those pop up boxes, they sometimes come up during the middle of a game and then I have to tab out in order to get rid of them.

Microsoft Security Essentials seems to work the best for me - all though I'm considering getting Kasp' for my new computer.

A year ago my family had no Anti-Virus on our computer. We got infected with a Trojan and got AVG Antivirus. It cleared our computer so we've been with it since

AVG is pretty good, although it isn't so good at finding the hidden ones.

I use 3 all the time. AVG, McAfee and Kapersky. If one of the anti-viruses miss a virus, I'm in deep shit so I have all 3 run scans once a week.

Easily the best free anti-virus is Microsoft Security Essentials.
The best paid anti-virus is Nod32.

"paid" is not a problem.

I used to use Nod32 on my old computer, before that I used Kaspersky. I was just wondering what everyone else uses

I;ve always liked Avast! for free antivirus and Malwarebytes' paid. Avast! is free with the features of Kaspersky, but doesn't detect as much, and Malwarebytes' can remove just about any infection.

Malwarebytes doesn't have to be paid, you can extend your trail for however long you need.

But paid has live memory scanning, I wouldn't recommend a program to any non power-user without that.

I use AVG cause its free and pretty good.

If something gets passed AVG, I'll attempt with Malware Bytes, if that doesn't do the trick.
I pull out the big guns, which then I try ComboFix which has fixed everything so far
But before I had Combofix, I used the best Virus Removal possible, My windows install disk Lol
