Xbox or Ps3?
Well, I'm selling my lame wii, so I could buy either one of these consoles, some of my friends say ps3 and xbox? Your opinions, the advantages, disadvantages and pricing?

It seems like there was just a thread about this, I personally prefer an Xbox 360 simply because 95% of my friends are on Xbox Live, I love the games they produce, and the large market.

Shall we compare prices:
ps3: 300$ modw2: 50$ Headset: 20$
xbox: 150$ modw2: 50$ wireless adapter: 100$ live: 50$ headset: 20$
xbox is much more expensive...but its good, ps3 is also good but not alot of my friends play it so...

You don't have to buy a wireless adapter, you can plug your laptop into your Xbox, or plug it into your modem. Also, both systems come with a mic meaning the price would be equal, the Xbox is not more.

If you play often, and sometimes with real life friends, go with the 360. Their community system is way better than the ps3's in my opinion.

I'm going to be bias about it, and say Xbox 360. I've never tried PS3, and I'm sure it would be much the same, but I think Xbox 360 is a great console. It has an awesome community and there are great games for it.
But, PS3 and Xbox 360 are probably similar, so go for the console that the majority of your friends play on. Trust me, it's much more fun playing with friends.

Go for the PS3, brah. I've always liked Playstation.
But... it depends on what your friends play. Most of my friends have the PS3, so I would go with that, but it's your choice.

Xbox hands down. Has better games, such as the Halo series. The competition on Xbox is way higher. Most important it's cheaper.
You PS3 fans will probably say your paying for the blue-ray too. I buy a game console to play video games on it. Not to watch fucking blue-ray movies.
