How to bypass parental controls?
I'm at my girlfriends house for the week, and there's parental controls set on downloading.
Does anyone know how to bypass this?

If you're at your girlfriends house you shouldn't be downloading shit onto her computer.
OT: If you do, then the parents will obviously find out, if it's a good parental control system.

My girlfriend is trying to update Java and a few things on her computer account, and her mom won't let her because she thinks everything gives viruses.

If he is at her house for a week, I don't think she willmind him Dl'ing things. Especially if he meant his own iPod, tablet, or anything else. Not necessarily a computer...
I've heard of ways to do it but the different ways depend on what kind of equipment you intend to DL stuff onto. I suggest a few google searches, as I know there are possible ways.

You could try explaining that having outdated versions of software is in itself a security risk, and can result in viruses.

If you can afford, buy a vps/dedi and access it through the internet browser? If you can access your dedi, you won't have parental controls on your dedi and you can play/surf from your dedi on her computer.

Why would he want to pay? That's retarded. If anything, you could use a free vpn like proxpn or cyberghost, granted that they even work through the parental controls considering it blocks downloads... |

No chance in hell I would log my gp mules on a whored out proxy. As I said, if he can afford to pay. This was my solution assuming he won't be able to download anything because of parental controls.
