i have 3grand to spend on a comp what hould i get?

Build your own computer but that will be a dick to build if its your first time u'll need some help , or just buy a computer and no need to build it

If you truly have that kind of money to spend and are US, I could build it for you and ship you it... I mean at 3K, you're going way over what you would need for any games, processing, or well... pretty much anything you would be doing. My personal suggestion is what Noodle said, build at $1500 and learn for yourself.

It's actually quite simple - just be very careful and ground yourself out (touch the metal frame of the computer before playing with any of the parts so you don't shock them) when you are beginning to build. The best you could build for $3K? You also need to specify... does this figure include monitor, keyboard, mouse, mousepad, etc.? Like do you need the external components as well?

You shouldn't spend that kind of money on a computer because if you just wait a few months, everything will be much cheaper and it won't be much better than a 1.5-2k computer, to be honest.

It will be better but I doubt hes going to be using the full power of that 3k build.

That's also true. If you really need the bit of better performance then it is worth it but generally you won't so its kind of pointless.

You don't need 3k.

I would suggest reading some guides on putting the computer together yourself, and then buying the parts and put it all together by yourself. However I understand some people are very 'techy', so perhaps an alternative would be to still buy the parts, but just get someone you trust to put it all together for you. You will save a lot of money and get a better computer if you do that.
