HP dv6-6171tx. Best thing about it is the graphics card. The most powerful a laptop could have AMD 6770. Price should be around 1k usd or less
i7 is added too

Re: Best laptop to buy?
Don't buy an HP.
Asus is a very reliable manufacturer.
And how much do you wanna spend?

Re: Best laptop to buy?
I recommend purchasing the Samsung RC520, I've got it myself. The high battery of life of 7 to 8 hours makes the device very portable and you are unlikely to need mains power when you are out and about. Even relatively new games function well on this machine.
I searched Google for a review and found that this accurately describes my wonderful experience with this laptop. http://www.laptopreviewwizard.com/samsung-rc520-review
A few drawbacks of course, but it's relatively cheap.

Re: Best laptop to buy?
Unless it HAS to be a laptop, you should probably consider a desktop. They are better for gaming and tend to be easier to upgrade and have better airflow.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834230027 - Will play anything at near max (may have to tick a couple settings down one or two)
There's many variations of that laptop (if you go to newegg, laptops, and select Asus.) for anywhere from $1000 - $2000 so you can pretty much pick which ever fits you best for your budget. But honestly, I have the 17.6" version of that laptop and I have no problem playing games on it.

Don't invest in a gaming laptop.
Buy a desktop instead.

Re: Best laptop to buy?
The thing is I want to take it with me because my parents are very strict ad take anything I buy/that they give me when I get in trouble so I want to be able to take it with me when I'm not at home.

Would definitely advise against alienware laptops. Sure they look cool, but price-performance ratio-wise.. Bad idea.

How? I have one just like that and I carry it back and forth to class six times a week. It's big and bulky, but there is a 15 inch version that is definitely smaller. Basically, if you know how to take care of your toys you have nothing to worry about.
