Im a freelance iOS Developer and have created a few apps on the official appstore, they are all paid apps. Problem is not many people these days actually rate and review apps, so my apps have no current average ratings! doesnt look appealing.

What i will be offering is, FREE promo codes to you guys to download my paid apps, and the only thing i ask in return, is if you could please rate them 5* afterwards and maybe write a short review.

It would really mean alot! If you have an iPhone/iPod Touch and are interested in some free games, inbox or post here, thanks.

You can't just develop an application and expect people to come flocking in to give you nice reviews and good ratings.
I'm not an iPhone user (yet) but can you pm me the names/links to your applications?

1.) you wont need to buy them, i will be giving out free promo codes.

2.) of course their not expected, but it takes a long time for enough people to rate your app, to have a average rating displayed under it when you find it on the appstore, with a small number of rating it just displays "no ratings", which is not appealing to a customer looking for a game, they want to see it has ATLEAST some ratings, otherwise it would feel like a gamble.

3.) my current released apps are "Veggie Attack!" and "Stupidity Test", ive also made a battlefield 3 app however Apple havent approved it yet, will update once its live on the appstore.

4.) im not sure what your offering there, im not requesting any help at all do with my iOS app developement, just seeing if any iPhone/iPod Touch users would like some free paid apps that ive created, and all i ask in return is to please rate and review them.

I'm offering to help you use a better marketing strategy than the one now so that more people would buy your apps, thus leading in a higher chance of them leaving ratings and reviews.

Temporarily make the apps free. Then you can get everyone you know with an iPhone to spread the word for you, get some downloads and ratings that way... Then make the apps paid once again.
