I am looking to buy a new computer, laptop preferably. Any suggestions on what type I should get? I want one for college papers, research, Runescape, and a few other things. Budget is about $300 - $550 USD.

Lenovo is a pretty decent brand. You also get a nice dual core Sandy Bridge processor with Intel HD Graphics 3000, which is actually not bad for light gaming. Should handle RS pretty well, and even some better games at low-med settings. It also has 1600x900 res, which is a huge bonus trust me. My laptop is 1366x768 and it suuuucks. Unfortunately it's a 17.3" laptop though. Not sure if that's going to be bothersome to you. Personally I'd prefer a bigger screen, and it's only like 6.5 lbs anyway so meh. Also comes with a case, 750GB HDD, Bluray, etc. Amazing value for $500 honestly

How much RAM does it have?
