Re: What kind of computer do you have?
Acer Aspire 5750. I'm very pleased with it, far better than my old laptop (Acer Aspire 4920). Here some of the specs:
4GB RAM
500GB HDD
15.6" Screen
Intel Core i3 Processor

Re: What kind of computer do you have?
HA. I have a garage full of computers..
Here's a few, but I build computers as a hobby and for my friends so along with this, I have numerous parts that I've replaced or upgraded from.
This is my laptop I use for everything.
Asus 17.3" 1080p hdmi blu-ray
i7 2630QM (very nice processor.)
8gb ddr3
GTX 460m 1.5GB
500gb HD
The desktop I am letting my mom use is
i5 650 @ 4.5ghz
8gb ddr3
HD 6770 1GB
about 2.1TB total drive space
I have TONS of pre-2005 computers that I use for parts.
The desktop I use regularly is
i7 960 @ 4.4ghz
12GB ddr3 tri channel (2000mhz but my mobo doesn't support that high and I don't wanna OC it so I'm running a cool 1866)
2x 560 Ti 2GB
3 TB total space ( 1.5TB raid 0 and a 1.5TB drive for backup.)
They all have dual and some have tri boot. I know I basically have a high end botting desktop, but I don't really know enough about RS and botting to set it up and stuff.

A 580 will perform just as good if not better in most situations. I'm sorry you spent the extra three hundo.

Re: What kind of computer do you have?
Current system:
NZXT Phantom + window mod
i5 2500k @ 4.2GHz
Corsair H60
ASRock EXTREME4 GEN3 Mobo
8GB of Corsair Vengeance RAM
Zotac GeForce GTX 480 @ 830/1660 (slight volt mod)
Too lazy to fill out all the rest. It works for me. Plays BF3 with a mix of high and ultra settings flawlessly so I'm fine for now. Once I get a job I'm probably going to begin saving up for a LGA 2011 mobo + i7 3930K + 6xx/79xx series SLI/CF setup + new PSU. Roughly $1.5k in upgrades assuming price leaks are at least close to accurate. Definitely replacing that damn H60 with a NH-D14 for Christmas, hopefully getting a RAID setup as well.

What? Not really... 590 is usually anywhere from 20-30% faster than a 580. It's basically two downclocked 580s. While two 580s is definitely a better value, a single 580 doesn't come close to touching the 590. Also I thought you had a 580?
