Hey this is my first time at looking to cuztomise my Pc and was just looking for some help as to what I should get.

The main use for my PC will be to play RS, Record and Edit Videos bot 1 - 2 Accs at a time.

I will also need to run progams like AutoCad and some 3d rendering programs.

Any input would be much appreciated.

Might seem odd I replied so fast, but I did this while I was waiting hahah.



Can play games aswell(COD, some BF etc) on highish settings, obv can save money by dropping the GPU down if you want, can add another HDD or something aswell(or a CPU cooler like the CM hyper 212+ and then you can overclock aswell.)


If anyone else thinks they can do better www.pccasegear.com is the site I used(IMO the best Aussie hardware site).

Why would he drop the gpu, it's only a $100. Saving $30-40 isn't going to help him build a better comp.

If anythinf Id maybe drop the cpu down to i5 2500k saves me $100

I would too, only put the 2600k because you said CAD and crap and it was in the budget.

He isn't gaming from what he mentioned so he could easily drop the GPU and save some money if he pleased.


@OP, there's a few people that might post alternative builds so yeah I'd wait and see if they come up with anything better.

What about cooling, should i look at anything extra or only if the budget allows?

If you want to overclock defs, if not the stock will do for now, or for $35(?) the Coolermaster Hyper 212+ is excellent.
