Default e3-1230 vs. i7 2600k, your thoughts?

So VPS4RSB is going to be switching servers next month, a large upgrade. We are currently using Intel Xeon x3450's with 16GB ECC ram. All of our customers are happy and it seems to support botting very well, BUT we do not like the congested network the DC has, there are no outages, but mostly slow downs on the internet connection. We have two choices to make:

e3-1230 vs. i7 2600k

On a webhost point of view I see no difference between the two, but as VPS4RSB is dedicated to botting, I would like to know what you guys would personally use to bot with if you had the choice?

Edit* :

x3450's : 2.66Ghz
e3-1230 : 3.2ghz
i7 2600k : 3.4ghz

This upgrade should significantly boost our servers output ability, to make all of ya'll happy

That's a tough one..

I'd say either the 1230 or 2600k

Probably the 1230 since it's for a server.

**waits for ivy bridge to explain which he'd pick
