Overpriced, are you willing to build yourself?

Re: Should I get this pc?
That's actually not too bad considering it's NZD. At the age comment, shame on you! I built mine when I had just turned 14

Re: Should I get this pc?
I have an Nvidia GTX 560, and I can tell you it rapes. It does seem a tiny bit over priced but it's NZ so I'm don't see a massive problem. You should really learn to build your own PC, it can be fun, teach you shit and can save you a lot of money in years to come.

Re: Should I get this pc?
Seems quite overpriced imo. The GTX 560 is alright, nothing special though. It will probably play the games you want to play easily but more than likely it'll struggle to max some of the new games coming out later this year, if that matters to you.

Re: Should I get this pc?
That seems about what you would pay building it yourself.
Go for it.

Re: Should I get this pc?
You're never too young to build a computer! I built my first computer at around 12. But about the computer, not bad.

It should be able to play everything on max easily.
Worst case scenario, he buys another GTX 560 and SLi's that shit for a HUGE power boost.

I disagree. My GTX 480 is pretty close to two of his cards in SLI (GTX 560 SLI would be a little bit better, not a huge margin though) and I can barely max certain games. Example, Total War Shogun 2 kills my GPU maxed out. I average like 25 FPS with slow downs to like 12-15 FPS during super intense stuff. Not to mention I have a pretty hefty OC on my GPU (701/1400 reference, I'm at 800/1600) and it still kills me. I'm running at about the speed of a stock 580, for reference. The Witcher 2 also rapes my GPU with ubersampling enabled.

Both at stock.
560 is just a rebranded 460 and there was no normal 560 for that benchie.
And if the 560 OC's like the 460 does then you'd be looking at roughly the power of 470 SLI or just under.
Ubersampling KILLS Fps, it's recommended not to use it.

Yeah I know the 560 SLI is better, but like I said it's only marginally better. Like 10% on most of those benchies. Idk about the typical GTX 480 but mine OCs pretty well, I hit 830 core with stock cooling and only a very slight voltage increase @ 95c, but I don't like my temps being that high/800 core destroys most games anyway. They're pretty much even for all intensive purposes. Not to mention perceived FPS is not something that can be benchmarked, and SLI setups usually experience microstutter which leads to a perceived FPS of much lower than what the benchmark says :x.
I'd love to have my GPU under water, 900 core would be sexyyy.
