I have a question I want to run by whomever it may concern. Would it be acceptable to offer a guide (as a PDF download), and in exchange for the download the buyer fills out an offer, instead of payment via paypal/rsgp etc. Basically they spend 1-2 minutes to fill out 1 offer that requires an email address.

It's not in my intentions to have Sythe users get spammed, or sign up for crap. I would create and provide an email address (pre-make 100+) for each user to enter into the offer to which all offers/spam is sent.

Summary:
I provide a link+email address - users take 1-2 minutes to complete the download, and they get a 'free' guide.

As guide sales are low - my hope is this will increase conversion rates as it is essentially 'free'.

I can't find anything specifically aimed at this in the rules - I would imagine it would be against the rules to have users enter their email address into offers for payment, that is why I will provide one of my email addresses to ensure they receive a clean download with no pesky follow-ups.

Although you are not allowed to request referrals, I think you would be ok with this one. You have the option to accept whatever type of payment form you would like when selling something so there shouldn't be a problem.

I don't see a problem with it.

I second that. You're being open and honest about it so I don't see why anyone would complain.
