Sythe toolbar: there could possibly be these

And i think for all the active users that want to use other sites while also knowing whats happening on sythe. e.g. im always playing chess so i miss pm's therefore missing some other stuff as well

I fucking DESPISE toolbars, but... This is one I would actually use.. LOL.

I like the idea, just not sure how keen Richard/Matthew would be on having one made.

It would take a lot of coding if it was built from scratch, and cost money if they loaned the toolbar software off someone else. Regardless I could see myself using one. Support.

I dont think it would matter alot, a better update would be having a few of your favourite topics on the left of your screen below the other user data.

I wouldn't be able to even SEE my IE browser if I got an extra toolbar, which is exactly why I moved to chrome; which a lot of people do. No support.

Just make bookmarks with javascript code?

Find All Posts Started By Yourself - can be accomplished by setting a bookmark linking to the function available on your User CP
Search Function - google.com search bar "sythe.org [search inquiry here]"
New Posts - again, setting a bookmark that links here: http://sythe.org/search.php?do=getnew

Basically what TBT said, I just noticed.

But if someone put a lot of work into it, and somehow integrated it into the bar to where you didn't even have to go to the forum to see new posts, or to alert you to posts on your threads, or quick searches, it could be pretty cool. I wouldn't use it though, I HATE toolbars.

A notification for when someone replies or quotes your post or thread like Facebook do would be good. This could take a bit of work though, although this would be very useful instead of going back to the thread again.

E-Mail Subscribe to your threads. Quoting would require coding in this vB version.

Can't you already do all that with bookmarks ? I know what you're saying, but once you're at the site, everything is only a few clicks away. There's also the bar at the top of the page too.
