Minimum post count for URL's
Well, there are a lot of malicious URL's that get posted on Sythe, most of the being from people who make Sythe accounts just to post them.
Anyway I was thinking Sythe could perhaps introduce a minimum post count required in order to post URL. Say 100 posts... It doesn't take long to get 100 posts and if people are trying to post malicious URL's, it will be easy to spot someone posting 100 posts of spam in order to get their post count up and they'll be banned before they can post it.

No support. What if someone wants to post their vouch thread? Not possible. It'll just cause huge annoyances for new users.

they could PM it to people or just put it in their sig...there's really no harm...
I support this, sick of all the people who come in with ********** posts that arnt really live streams lol

You could just make it so that you could only post Sythe.org links until 100 posts. That really is not too hard to do (I'd assume, Matthew would have to answer though).

If people can put a vouch thread link in their sig, they obviously can put their malicious link there.
What SuF says would be a possibility, but I still think it's too much trouble.

If this is possible to implement, I'd support it.
On the other hand, it's pretty easy to spot a malicious link. As a rule of thumb, you could always ignore links posted by members with <100 Post Count

Which is exactly why I said it's easy to spot someone who posts 100 posts of spam.. They'll be banned well before they post even get to post the malicious link.

I never do, which is why I have never fell victim.
How ever non experienced people don't know what they're doing and may click the links.

no matter what post count you set they will just spam it, however I believe it would be a great idea to make them unable to let them post a link like google.com but have the original link shown.
