I think due to the low activity of these sections, they'd be better off included in the "Other Games" category.

Both of these sections have under 1k total posts in them and take up a good amount of room on the homepage.

They should just be removed and the other games section restructured to better fit the wide variety of genres and gaming devices.

Looking at them now, both kind of suck. The other idea is to just remove the Console gaming section and do something like this:

What it becomes really does not matter. The important thing is that the console games section needs to go or the genre sections need to go because having both makes no sense because threads could go in more than one section.

I think (just think, can't say for sure, for obvious reasons) that the majority of the traffic in the Other Games area, the Diablo section, and the Minecraft section is very specific. And by that I mean, people aren't stumbling upon those sections and just deciding to post something. I feel as if they have a question, they look for the section specifically to get an answer.

I wouldn't doubt that this goes for the console gaming section too. So having said that, I do not think that a section with all of the non market related gaming topics (with subsections for the category / game) would at all hinder the traffic to these areas, and might make navigation among the sections easier.

I was thinking something along the lines of Gaming > Console / PC / Online Gaming > MMO, Action/FPS etc etc etc.

Just some thoughts while I'm sitting here in my American National Government class.

Minecraft however, yea the hype of it has kinda died down.

But you could still adjust it for organizational purposes.

Hmm, I agree Minecraft activity has gone down in the last few weeks, but I say we wait until 1.8 and then see what happens. 1.8 is supposed to be the biggest update yet to Minecraft. Let's just see what happens with it, if nothing happens then it can be just deleted.

Wait wait wait. I support removing the diablo section, because it has 0 activity. But please do not remove the minecraft section. I have been putting in an immense effort to increase activity, and its working. Posts per day in that section have been increasing over the past few weeks. We are finally starting to get an active section don't get rid of it just yet.

I think it would help for the section to be moved up above the diablo section, as a lot of people just never really scroll down that far to bother with it.

Well minecraft technically "isn't out yet" but as we all know, over 3.6mil people have already bought it. Not to mention it is being full released in november anyways.

A month would be fine, as anyone can see its already picking up in activity.

Sythe added Diablo so I don't think it'll be removed anytime soon. Once Diablo III is release I assume the section will get good activity

Yes i agree with him. Minecraft hasn't even came out with the "Official" game yet. And people are still playing and talking about the updates, it's going to slowly pick up in activity and become very popular very fast.
