Well your right, GSP has fought both and beaten both. Which is why Dana allowed Jake the first title shot. People dont want to see the same fighters over and over again.

Strikeforce card just ended, and Im going to bed.
GSP destroyed both fighters last time he fought them. I wish Mr Nick Diaz would come over and fight gsp.

I actually tried it and didnt like it. The characters look like cartoon drawings while UFC looked a bit more realistic. It didnt help by the way they added the movement. It was like ice skating.
So overall i'd pick UFC 2010.
And I dont think Nick Diaz would do any better than Shields vs GSP. Nicks also a submissions specialist.
And Fedors got a fight finally? Antonio Silva does NOT know whats coming for him!

I think nick would do better because he has a striking game, unlike Shields.
Antonio Silva rd 1 ko.

I think his head will get guillotined faster than 10 seconds, I'll give it 2 seconds.
But anyways im so surprised the fight card for Fedor came fast. I mean i've been WAITING for fedor to fight again. This is tournament style, hopefully Fedor gets to meet Overeem.

In all honesty, I do not believe the tourny is going to go through. Contract issues, will get in the way. (Fedor)

Fedor really has to get the fuck out of contract issues. Seriously his "contracts" are always in the way of fights.
Here you see Alistair Overeem steam-roll people and Fedor just sits there fighting once a year.

Its strikeforce's fault. They dont want to risk losing Fedor, so they are doing everything for him. There whole hw division is like that. Overeem goes fights wherever he wants, no matter what. Barnett cant get a license in the U.S. It seems Silva and Werdum are the only ones the can get to fight.

Strikeforce really needs to set up better matchs. I mean all these fights only need to win against 1 good guy. "title shot!". In the UFC you have to piledrive into at least 2-3 guys before even being considered for a top contender match. I mean look at George Sotirpuolos hes on a 7-0 win streak and still inst near a top contender match yet.

Re: Mixed Martial Arts
I used to watch like every event, not so much now. Only watch A.Silva and Mir fights because they are my favorites. And I hate when people say that MMA is like boxing, because it's so much different. Boxing is pretty boring in my opinion and MMA is great fun.

Or they give title shots to guys who lose. THe reason they do that, because they arent close to as deep as the UFC.

Well, in MMA you dont have a chance the moment your knock'd out. Which is much safer than getting concussion-ed 20 times in a fight.
I still think strikeforce need to up their game. They got the money, they got the resources. Do something about it. Look at the Japanese Dream, they are doing even better than strikeforce for matchs.
Next, i still think George Sotiropoulos is getting opponents worst than the ones hes already beat. Kurt Pellegrino, 4 fight win streak. Next one Joe Lauzon, 1 fight win. Like what the fuck, he just beat a guy who has been constantly winning and gets some dude with a ONE fight win?. On top of that He beat the dude Name Joe Stevenson who got a title shot for beating Kurt Pelligrino before beating Kurt Pelligrino himself.
Now hes up agaisnt Dennis Siver, 2 fight win. his opponents are being downgraded.
I see a fuckload of problems for George Sotiropoulos in getting his title shot.
This is like the reverse of Strikeforce.

Win streaks dont tell the whole story though. You can be on a win streak and be facing noone. I think if he beats siver, he will get a huge step up then if he wins that, he gets the belt.
And strikeforce, there problem is control. They just resigned there champ Nick Diaz. But there best division, they cannnot control anyone.

Re: Mixed Martial Arts
Wait if Dos Santos is getting a title shot vs Cain....i dont get it. Why would Dos Santos give up his championship match to fight Brock after TUF 13?. Dont the coaches usually fight each other at the end?...
Wait a minute JDS has to fight ANOTHER fight to get a title shot vs Cain??!!
And hold on, Lesnar WILL get a title fight after beating JDS? Didnt Lesnar just lose to Cain?
Shit UFC is just trying to use their cash cow Lesnar again. JDS better KTFO Lesnar, cause this is ridiculous.
And win Streaks do mean alot. Its like climbing a ladder, the upper you go the better the fighters you fight. Sotiroupolous is right now climbing down the ladder. I think he deserves a title shot more than gray Maynard/Anthony Pettis.
