Re: My Weight Loss Journey
You'll get there with hard work and dedication. I will be following this thread to keep up with how you are doing. Good on you for trying to make a change. Don't quit and don't fail yourself.

Re: My Weight Loss Journey
Good to see people actually caring about their health.
I've been in your shoes around 3 years ago when I was 13, It's not really hard just make sure you have something to motivate you.

Thanks for the support and my motivation is to feel good about myself when I go out and not be so worn out after activities.

Re: My Weight Loss Journey
Day 1 -
Today started off well I got up when my alarm went off, I started positively. I went downstairs and immediately decided to get out the ingredients for the food I am going to eat today, I chose a fat free yoghurt, with wholemeal breakfast biscuits and an apple, compared to my normal 2-3 bowls of cereal this is a great start.
For lunch I have prepared a ham salad with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, ham and salad cream with a 20g packet of oat baked crisps.
Have been at work for four hours now and getting on well I have not been eating bad/junk food and also have not had any fizzy drinks, I have been having fruit squash or water

Good on you. I've also lost a lot of weight over the years and changed so much because of it. It all comes down to willpower and finding motivation to keep it up every day. Just know we're here to support your goal!

Thank you. It also helps to hear from people who have been there and done it themselves so you know it is possible.

Re: My Weight Loss Journey
This is excellent. I'm glad you're taking care of yourself at such an early age. When I was your age, I had the exact opposite problem - I was too skinny! My BMI was probably around 16.5. I'm glad to say after intaking around 3,500 calories a day for around a year, I have gotten myself to a more normal weight now. Just don't give up! Don't expect to achieve the results you want in a few weeks. If you want something drastic, you have to work hard for it. Now to finish this off with a quote from Mohammad Ali, "I hated every minute of training, but I said, “Don’t quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.”"

Good for you. I'm on something similar at the minute. Good luck with your programme, I hope you stick with it. That is key.

Re: My Weight Loss Journey
Personally if I was you, I'd use p90x from a torrent, due to the fact you already have some weight you'll gain quite a bit of muscle mass and tone up fast, that program is amazing for people that have a few extra pounds. It's hard work but it will literally pay off so well.
Good luck ^ _ ^ and keep us updated

Is it possible you could give me a link and an explanation. From what I have gathered it's a video of sort that goes through workouts am I correct?
