When you will download it, click the icon in the taskbar.
You will be able to select a hotkey (select a key with which you want to picture your screen), now select how do you want to take pictures (information in a picture below).
Moreover, you can set a timer, disable a mouse pointer, and it is very easy to use.

Let's go further, if you want to resize a picture, this is what you need to do :
1. Download a Paint.net program :

It's a bit similar to a Paint program, but this program has way more advantages.
Paint.net is a very simple and nice editing program, a tabbed document interface display a live thumbnail of the image, so this makes navigation very fast.

3. Let's change this picture size by a certain percentage, select Open - choose your picture - Image - Resize :

* You can do it backwards too.

Greenshot is a great freeware program too.
when you press print scr it lets you select a area that you want to make a screenshot of and it auto names it to the programname you made a screenshot of and the date + time

Snipping tool is pre-installed on Windows Se7en and can be used to screenshot very rapidly also.

Nice guide, but I don't like to download "noname" programs. I prefer using photoshop for this kind of stuff.
