I Only Sell's High Pardon Request

SpacedLlama accidentally sent my dispute instead of the pardon. Sorry about that.

I just want to say that I admit guilt to ban evasion. I take responsibility for what ever happened in 2007. I saw a quote on Brendan's profile. It said "You only get out what you put in." Any random person that decides to do shady things on a forum would not care if they get banned, but when I got banned, I was really hurt. I put so much effort into building my name in this community. I would sleep late and wake up early just to check up on my bots to keep my customers happy. Not to mention that these aren't even real customers because they aren't paying me a cent. I invested a lot of money on bots and runescape membership so that I could start a gold shop. I was thinking of helping my father pay the bills. I put all this work in, and I get a ban for something that happened 4 years ago.

Does anyone know what his original ban reason was?

If this is the only offence he caused, he'd have been unbanned because of the Self-Vouching rule reform. However, he still ban evaded which is a permanent ban-worthy offence.

I believe you're being genuinely sincere and you are sorry for your mistakes.

I might investigate this further. If I can't find anything regarding him scamming or breaking any other rules, I'll support further discussion leading up to a pardon on this.

So, I Only Sell claims that the account that was banned for self-vouching was his brother.

 

I'm fairly certain other people who have used the "oh it was my brother" line have not received any special treatment, and rightly so. Additionally he has been evaded, showing further disregard for the rules. That does not strike me as the meritorious candidate that a recipient of a high pardon should be...

 

Which is what complicates this case. It's basically a dispute, however if it's in the form of a dispute it'd be denied because it's near impossible to prove whether it is his brother or not, which is why he's appealing for a High Pardon.

Also, I Only Sell just told me he meant he's only assuming it's his brother, because he claims he used or created a Sythe account before his current one.

The way it's going, it's turning into a dispute.

 

Okay, you have my vote to be pardoned. I truly think he is sincere, and I honestly believe him when he says he has no idea who he's evading.

 

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt here. Mainly because I believe you're being genuine and are a rather kind, helpful member of the community.

 

Unfortunately, you have not received the required amount of support (Five Staff members supporting an unban within two days). Therefore, this pardon request will be denied. You will be eligible to appeal for another pardon in six months time.
