Stats got reset? Don't report bug on Runescape -- UPDATED!! [BAN]

93 fishing down to 88. Saw a guy wearing the Firemaking cape of achievement, but had 1 FM.

Made me lol.

 

Thank you for making this thread, I was getting rather sick of seeing 100 stat reset threads around here.

OT; What would Sythe rate the price of an account with a 99 cape on but stats reset?

 

Depends, can you take the cape on and off; regardless.
if not; it wouldnt be as much as supposed.
then again.. it'd matter on the difference between the 99

TBH my opinion it wouldn't be to rare unless it was a firecape;
it'd possibly be like the old accounts in old tut; but worth abit more

 

Saw a level 5 with fire cape today. Looked at his adv. log he had just leveled 86 range down to 4. Made me lol so hard.

 

99wc down to 1....still wearing the cape and i aint taking it off

 

93 mining down to 1 mining... I now have 40M on a level 3 haha

from 90 to 26 mining... I even started botting at 60 so wtf kind of level reset was that? Dick move.

 

97 to 1 Cooking. I got 97 to do some Effigies.... Should've gone 99 and wore the cape lol

 

Will you be informed, like a notification when your skills are resetted? because I don't keep track of them or dont even try to remember them... except for a few skills...

I guess when Jagex reset me, I wouldn't even know! lol.

I think jagex SHOULD inform us if our skills are resetted, like:

"Your Mining skill has been reset to the point where we suspected that you started botting... so please fire up your botter, and gain back your levels! Thank You"

 

Was talking to a player moderator from another cheating forum, and he said that he had recently received a mass email detailing the issue with the stat resets. He had been asked to continue telling those whose accounts had been reset, to post a bug report. They ARE NOT BUGS!

It is an easier way of Jagex tracking down botters. These stat resets are deliberate, and by reporting bugs (which they ask you to do, knowing that it is only occurring with botters), you are a creating a big red exclamation mark on your account.

Tell your friends, don't report the resets.

I have heard of people like "Green098" being reset though?

 

If you don't report it, you have a mild chance of escaping.

Don't report it. Stay low, stop botting, and just play safe for a while.

 

I dont think Jagex would tell there Mods to lie.

 

They're telling them to encourage people to report the bugs. I'm assuming it's a cover story to catch botters.

 

Well, unless you can show me proof i ain't believing and so far that i heard this is a bug lol, which is cause by something else, but no one knows not even fagex lol, don't be telling people to not report a bug.

I no for a fact that its to Java Programs Clashing thats causing this "Glitch" the fact that Java is used to run Bots could be the reason only bots are getting Glitched, But it is very possible for another program or client of some kind to be having the same effect.
