    Hey guys, I just wanted to share with you my little daily routine. It has dropped me from weight 287lbs, to now 220lbs. It has only taken a couple of months to drop this much weight, and I would like to share with you how I have managed it.

    Okay guys, When you get hungry, your brain tells you to eat something, just like if you smoke, your brain tells you to smoke a cigarette correct? Well the brain only wants you to be happy, and it is all a matter of willpower to tell your brain no.

    I started off by simply getting up to go outside, and sit for a while instead of just staying inside, but you can stay inside to do this if you would like, but if you do enjoy going outside every so often this guide will help you a little bit faster.

    Okay, when you get hungry you need to tell your brain no, because if you are overweight, no offence, but you probably eat a lot. Which is not good. So to tell your brain no, and give food simulation to your mind I went into the kitchen one day and just started to eat ice. Believe it or not, it really does fill you up.

    One important thing to remember is You must never eat after 7:00 P.M, for this is the laziest part of your day. After 7:00 you really do not do anything else correct? When you eat right before you go to sleep, that is what really puts a lot of weight on you, you may not realize it but it adds up over just a couple of nights. It really does help when you go outside at night and just take a little 5 minute walk, when the night feels good, it's not too hot, and not too cold. You might end up finding yourself walking a good 20 - 30 minutes and not even realize it. Just ask a friend to walk with you, or your mom, or sibling, or even just take a little walk with your Ipod.

    It will be hard for the first week or two, but guys I promise it really does develop into a habit. I know this from my own experiences, I have never read a guide on losing weight or anything. It really does feel good going back to school, and a lot of people notice how much weight you have lost, and compliment you on it.

    I hope this guide helped some people out, these are my own experiences, it is all free, and everything. Within a couple of months doing this, you should drop a good amount of weight, and I wish the best of luck to you guys.

    I like this guide use of pictures is semi-good.

    Just a quick question this with intense physical activity 7 days a week about how much wait could some one lose a week? Intense as in running a mile + every day and around 20-30 pushups,situps,crunches etc.

    Running a mile, doing push ups and etc. it all depends. Do you do it in the morning, at night, or both? Because if you do it at night when you are done with dinner and do not eat after you are done, it could make you drop a decent amount. Possibly up to 3-4 pounds a week.

    Contrary to the above post, I thought the use of pictures was extraordinary. Everything is accurate to my knowledge, and i'll have to try the eating ice thing. My period of inactivity is past 9 PM though, as I do crunches before bed I eat dinner at 6:30ish then maybe some pistachios while watching South Park before bed :p

    You must also take into account that in the hispanic lifestyle they have their dinner at 9-11PM....

    Yes that is true, But Alot of hispanics (Not to sound racist) are more agile, and exercise more than us Americans.

    Sweet guide! Your giving a lot of tips here, and nice pictures. The eating ice tip might actually be really useful. Since your eating something solid, it actually does fill you up. That solid thing turns into water, which is good for you and, believe it or not, helps you loose weigh.

    good effort on the guide, but tbh, this is not a healthy way to lose weight. the human body won't consume enough nutrients to survive

    Lol, Well when you read this and all you ever eat is ice, then yes. But This is just like little snacks. I mean you need to eat Breakfast and Dinner, not Ice 24/7 lol

    I didn't really like this guide.
    First, if you want to lose weight you should actually try, the only thing that is suffering is your health. Even though you may not be obese you need to keep that in mind as a concern.
    Overall I didn't like this guide to much.
    Improvements: One thing I didn't like was the overall nature of the guide. You were basically telling people how lose weight by basically telling people to say no to their stomaches. I also feel like you could change the layout/font to make it a little bit more aesthetically pleasing.
    What you did good: The subject, was decent. I feel like many people want to know as many ways as possible to lose weight without going out and doing something. I don't like your attitude toward this issue, but that is another issue.
    Closing: I think this guide can be significantly improved, make it a little more spirited, get some better photos, and maybe rearrange the layout.

    I'm sorry to break it to you,
    but ice actually is worse than water, and it actually helps you gain wait, because cold water is harder to digest than warm water.

    Other then that, I agree with Greg.

    Since when do you digest water? I didn't know the body breaks down water even further to its elements.

    If anything, the cold factor of the ice will help you lose weight as you'll burn more energy to maintain a certain temperature. But of course doing this isn't too practical.

    Everybody has a different body type. This guide might not work for all, because exercise is indeed essential for weight loss.

    It does NOT matter what time of day you workout, as long as you do workout. Although I think what you are trying to say in your guide is that you should try going out at night because it is usually pleasant (although this is completely a matter of opinion and does not apply to everyone) and you will be more likely to want to walk more because you are enjoying yourself.

    I really don't recommend doing this at the very beginning of your workout, as this guide seems to be aimed at people who are overweight (and I am assuming you are as well), and if you instantly start of doing intense workouts 7 days a week, you will do more harm than good.

    You should always start of slower, keep the workouts intense but seven days a week will probably prove to be too much unless you are already involved in sports or other physical activities. You should gradually increase your workouts week by week, and it is crucial to give your body time to rest, this means take at least one day off.

    Also, I feel the title is misleading. I don't think the methods you have stated in your guide are really an effective way to lose weight. There is a lot more to losing weight than eating less, and walking 20 minutes a day. Although that is a good start, to be effective in losing all that fat and getting healthy, a much more intense workout is needed, and you should always apply weights to your workout. You will see less weight loss, but you will still be losing fat which is your ultimate goal. Having more muscle mass is proven to increase your metabolism as well.

    I do like the layout of your guide, and the use of pictures is good. Although I don't think this is the most effective or best guide to lose weight, it's nice that you are sharing the method that helped you lose weight with others. ;)

    A lot of broscience in this thread, and the majority of it isn't even good.

    If you're a guy, and you likely are, and your stomach sticks out further than your chest, your either nonathletic or overweight.

    If you're "skinny fat", which most of you likely are, this also does not mean you're in shape.

    Weight loss is all about calories in vs calories out. Sure, you could stop eating but that would be the worst way to loose weight. The only efficient way to loose weight and get stronger at the same time is heavy cardio. Not 20 minutes of light jogging on a treadmill and "rewarding" yourself with crap afterwards. But an hour of weight + high heart rate training. With this you can eat quite a bit of food, but that doesn't mean junk. Honestly, most overweight people don't have the mindset to do shit about it and flop through life looking unaesthetic and costing the government loads of money for healthcare.

    So you're saying that people enjoy being constantly ridiculed?

    That they enjoy being ignored by their peers?

    That they enjoy the stigma of being overweight?

    Now, more on topic; I previously lost 30 kg, after being somewhat over-weight and I can tell you that it's all about self-control. Eating regular meals is correct, what OP is telling you to do is to cut out the snacks in between, and to combine this with a little bit of exercise every day.

    At the moment I'll try to, at least once a day, get out the back and use the weight-machine.

    Nice guide OP, and sorry for my poorly constructed post.
