[Guide] How To: Record Proof (Incase scammed) [Basic]

    Hey Everyone!
    Influenza(AGAIN!).

Today I'm going to teach you how to take proof
    of your whole trading experience
    *incase you get scammed*.
    Things you'll need to this:
    • Common computer knowledge
    • Hypercam 1/2 (which can be found HERE).

    Alright, well first off
    THIS IS A FREE DOWNLOAD.

Alright, once you have downloaded the program, I want you to open it up.
    You will get this notice:
    Just click OK.

Now here comes the part, where you actually USE the program.
What you want to do, is open up your MSN/AIM window, with the person that you're going to be trading.
Go to your Hypercam 2 App. Click "Select Region"
Then you want to start at the corner of the conversation, and go diagonally to the next. (I'm going to use on notepad).

Now hit "Start recording or "F2"

Good! You're 3/4 the way finished.
Now to pause your recording, hit "Start Paused" or "F3"
*To resume, hit either one of these keys again*.

When wanting to stop recording completely, hit "Stop Recording" or "F2"

    Alright! Now you're done recording.
I'm guessing you want to FIND your video?
Go to your documents, that's where all videos are saved to, unless instructed otherwise.
*Vista Users* Just search for your file name [ClipX]

From there, you can upload your videos to YouTube, or just plainly view your videos.
I hope this guide has helped you! Please remember, stay safe.
Try to look for suspicious behavior when trading online.
Use a MM, or trade trusted members.
Here's a video that I have made, after doing all these steps:

Although short, this is a wonderful guide considering it's value to a lot of the members here. This should possibly be a sticky in the black market sections, thus allowing members to be more cautious when recording proof and possibly deter scammers.

Decent but not great, like the mods, admins say, they will not view a 30 minute video of a conversation. Good guide none the less.

I think it's a Great guide and is needed by most members on sythe 8/10 for you mate.

Also, You should think about making a guide OUTSIDE the computer/technical side of things. Other then that, Great job.

Props to you for making the video.

That's why you could PAUSE the video recording, then resume later on.
Also, you can take single frame shots.

This sucks for scam proof because things are easily edited.

No mods want to watch the videos and screenies get straight to the point.

Nice and concise guide but nobody better sticky this.
