Its basically a roundabout way of shutting down your computer. Nothing special. You should make more meaningful guides :). 4/10 for the effort anyway.

I think you need to know the NAME of the computer, but I'm not entirely sure what that would be. Also, I think it would only work on computers that are on the same LAN as you.

Yes, you are correct. I've used this before to safely turn off servers on my network. You need to know the name of the computer, not the I.P..

    Can you read?

No, you enter the computer's name, and you select what you want it to do.

You (and only you, noone else) should smash your computer with a large hammer for spamming meaningless posts. Other people should then click OK if the computer is on their network.

If you read the hole thread, he says if you don't have the button, and this is to mainly just have your options open.

Mention this only works on networks and show how to obtain the name of a computer as it isn't necessarily obvious.

Because a person in a office is so immature that they would shutdown another employee's computer?

This Guide is useless. It only describes one of the shutdown functions useable in the command prompt.

I used to use it all the time on people, and just liked to mess with them.

Start -> Run -> Type "cmd" -> Press Enter
    Type: SHUTDOWN -s -t 600 -c "Lol. Owned you."

Typing Shutdown makes the computer recognize that you are wanting to shut down a particular computer.

    -s
The command used for shutting down your own computer.
    -t "00"
This is for the time it will take to shut down. "00" is for how many seconds it will take before shutting down.
    -c "Lol."
This is a comment that will be added in a box below the shutdown timer.

There are other types of shutdown commands such as -r, -m, etc. You can find such commands and their descriptions of use by simply typing 'SHUTDOWN' and pressing the enter key while in the command prompt.

Much things need added to the Guide, as I've just shown a little bit above.
1/10, as you've shown one way of using the shutdown function within Windows.
