Hello everyone, and welcome to my guide on how to ollie on a skateboard

Step 1

First lets start out with determining your stance.

Goofy stance means that you ride with your RIGHT foot forward.

Regular stance means that you ride with your left foot forward.



Now that we have that established, lets talk about were to place your feet for an ollie.


If your stance is regular place the front of your left foot in the middle of the board with your your heal hanging off the board.

Then place the front of your right foot almost at the edge of the board with your heal hanging off the board.

If your stance is goody place the front of your right foot in the middle of the board with your your heal hanging off the board.

Then place the front of your left foot almost at the edge of the board with your heals hanging off the board.

Note- (this picture is for people with a REGULAR stance. if ur stance is goofy you need to place your feet opposite side of the board)

Now that we have accomplished that, i will show tell you how to do an ollie.


Step 1: Begin by Bending both of your knees. (kind of like your going to croutch)
Step 2: Now with your back foot pop the board down and slide your front foot forward in a fast motion. (look at picture below)


Once you have done that you should be in the air.




And thats how you do an ollie. =]

I don't see how this topic is helpful in anyway at all.

These are one of those guides that are better off being videoed instead of posted.

1/10 due to the fact that numerous guides such as this have been posted here, pictures are Googled (the least you can do while making a pointless guide is take time to make your own pictures) and this is one of those guides that is better off being on video.
