Regarding the Report a Spammer Section.

The report a spammer section is getting a bit ridiculous. It is now 25 pages long. Why are none of the mods doing any of it? You can't ALL be busy :huh: I know that most mods are doing their fare share of the load but some aren't. This is just my opinion.

Let them work at their own pace, we don't know what else they could be doing. It's their time, their choice. Don't criticize them.

And this is where we look back at the new promotions that were made awhile back. Remember everyone making those stupid threads about how great, and how hard working the new mods were?

Anyways I wouldn't worry about complaining... Mods will do what they want to do. Your feedback doesn't change anything. It will probably just get locked by and admin or global, and the report a spammer section will remain as it is until a mod actually steps up and takes the initiative to do it.

 

I'll do most of them when I'm not busy....I've been VERY busy and will be everyday except weekends.

So, probably tonight I'll try to MAYBE do 10 pages or something.

This isn't a complaint, this is simply just me asking the mods to do it.


The longer it is posponed there are idiots spamming the forum saying "nice account" "scammer" ect ect.. Just to get their post count up. It really annoys me.

 

Everyone would probably say that. You'd start off pretty well due to the motivation caused by the promotion but eventually you'll get bored (run out of steam) and there will be no motivation to keep doing them after you get deeper and the Mod job becomes more routine. The job will eventually become boring and this thread will start all over again.

Where's their motivation to keep going? Most of them have been in staff for months-years with little change and/or things to motivate them.

 

How crucial.. people aren't being infracted every second of the day.
How will we ever survive.
We probably won't, it's almost worse than the world exploding.
Every single person in the world is going to die because of this horrible mishap.
I guess it was bound to happen.

Anyway, I'm unable to do any spam reports while I'm capped (used up internet bandwidth so my speed has reverted to dial-up). I don't have the patience to wait for all those different threads to load over the space of 10 minutes per thread. As my internet speed returns, I will once again return to do some spam reports ...

 

No one gives a fuck, the people who scam and get reported don't even logon anymore. they just leave and make another account, pretty simple bro.

 

The report a scammer forum isn't invisible to users. Traders are perfectly capable of searching the open reports themselves, and making decisions based on the evidence. Just because a report hasn't been 'answered' doesn't mean it's useless.

There are over 13k reports in the archive - they do get done.

As for spam reports, a lot of the more problematic posts/threads get handled by lurking mods.

 

the spam reports are boring and mods are not specifically required to do them. admins could care less about the section; therefore mods dont actively do spam reports.

this goes for the anti scam section as well, which is why everyday the reports increase and scammers continue scamming.

also, all the newer mods are getting tired of the unending reports, and the older mods depend on the newer mods to do the bitch work.
