Now this is kind of a main, but when I played a LONG time ago, I began to try to do mostly just skilling.

As you know, mining is the #1 f2p money maker.
If you wanted to make it a member, you could also hunt chinchompas, and do loads of other stuff for money

only a couple essentials, like rune pick and axe, random event costumes, and some runes and such.

Nothing big. But as we know, rune mining is the #1 f2p money maker, and hunting is a big p2p one.

 

I believe woodcutting is the #1 f2p way to make money, also killing cockroach soilders works great to.

 

1 rune ore is like 10-12k or whatever it is at now, versus 300 ea for yews
