How to Protect yourself on Window live messenger

This is a simple guide on how to protect yourself on Window's live messenger

What you will need:
- Window's live messenger
- Msn email account

1) Ok first off once you have window's live open log in with your msn detail's


2) Once logged in, click on the tab on the top righthand corner- then
tools- then options...(follow the number's)


3) ok once you done that a bigger page will come up with a variety of tabs.
Click on the one that says "File Transfer", then check the box that says "Automatically reject file transfers for known unsafe types". Do this then click apply- ok.


Now your messenger can, help you from recieving harmfull file's such as keylogger's and viruses.

Please note* it might block some file's that are not, harmfull*

Yea there is alot of ways, but this way is the easiest for hacker's. Its like accepting a time bomb when you just accept a file someone is sending you.

 

Mind telling me how you make windows live accounts that have @msn.com not @live.com since I cant make a live account some temporary error on checking availability. And nice guide 8/10

All your guides are a tee of for an amazing idea, but you don't expand on them much. Your title covers a wide range, but all you do is cover how to reject files.
But it's a good layout, and I like pictures. So well done, but it could be improved.

Not everyone looks for a simple guide. You can break anything down into enough chunks for people to do.
