This is also to prevent people seeing it on live-streams, if you get hacked, etc.

 

Forgive me if I'm wrong but I believe this only works if you are the one who logs on it to see the altered IP. If someone else logs on it would not show it, it would show your real IP. It would not work for if you got hacked but it would for live streams

 

I actually never knew this. This is actually a really handy guide for those people who sell a lot of accounts and get sick of blocking the I.P out through paint. Thanks for posting

 

Good, simple and effective guide. For just images to upload, I would rather just use paint though.

Wow... You seriously don't know how much I've looked for this (a lot!).

I've wondered how people get random "last logged in from" text. I've seen things like "Alaska" and "your moms house" and other stuff...

This is great man. Big thanks for sharing this I sell accounts and I always have to edit the IP out where as now I can just use this handy method.

I'm bumping this because I feel it's important for others to know.

 

I don't know about this MAC Cloning stuff, but I'm pretty sure that as long as you do not request a static IP from your ISP, your IP will be dynamic meaning it will change every time you reset your modem anyways.

if someone logs in on your account they can see your real ip, its just to hide it on your computer. nothing special.

Run " Notepad " AS ADMINISTRATOR . and then try to edit.

if not use NOTEPAD++
