Newcomers posting Links

Is there anyway where you can restrict those can post links? If you could do it so you can only post url links if you have 50+ posts or something?

 

There's been a lot of that going on recently, the thing is if that was done. A newcomer would then have to go around spamming 25-50 posts around the forum and then they post their links and fuck off. Don't get me wrong it's a good idea and has been suggested before, but it has been declined a lot.

 

This has been suggested an immeasurable amount of times, but it never happens.

Edit: A better suggestion was only allowing them to post Sythe links.

 

Ok, maybe they have to have x amount of months at Sythe.

 

Just because some newcomers do it does not mean we should punish all newcomers for it. Anyone who was really determined would just spam it up, which would only cause more trouble.

 

It's barely do-able, it's a major waste of time. No support.

Also, don't click on a link you don't trust.
