Long time Sythe user hacked and banned [Verified by Sin]

Hi, I've got a bit of a touchy situation to explain. I was an active member of Sythe and bought and sold in the Runescape section often. I decided to come back a few days ago and couldn't remember the information for my old account bareblar02, lo and behold I find that it's been banned.

Since I forgot to do so when I originally posted this recovery request here's a link to my old profile.

I did a bit of searching through the post logs and the last post I distinctly remembered making was made on 10-23-2007, that post was an appeal to get my pure unbanned on Runescape.

Following that post there are several posts about two weeks later trying to sell a Steam account - given that I have never even used Steam it seems a bit fishy. I looked through and the guy's name is "Ronald"

I should also note that my way of writing is very unique, even back then I took great care to ensure the quality of every post - the hacker however did not. If you look at IP logs from the period I used the account, all the way up to the post on 10-23-07 and the period where the account had been hijacked on 11-06-07 you will see a change in IP addresses, quality of posts and activity in terms of what the person was selling.

I don't know how best to prove a hijack from 4 years ago but I figure it's worth a try.

I am still using the same network that I used when I created the account and the last time I used the account if that's any use for verification purposes.

The only email addresses that I have ever used on Sythe or otherwise are [email protected] and [email protected]. You might notice a similarity between those and my account names. I value my identity online as well as my reputation and to have it tarnished by a hacker, that's not to my liking.

Thanks. Notably, I don't really care if the account is recovered to me because I can rebuild my reputation but it's worth a try. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to expedite the process or verify my identity.
