Until yesterday, I wasn't aware of a scam that included account rental.

It's quite simple, you rent the account, pay for the rental, everything goes fine. Then the person who owns the account WRITES AN APPEAL to jagex and they lock the account, alongside with kicking you from the account. All of your money/winnings stay on the account and the owner simply recovers the account back and takes all of your money and winnings.

I didn't know that You can get kicked from the account, my bad, lost 720M due to this.

I've posted a scam report already, but I think it will get locked due to lack of proof. He's renting an account with login - ii heav3n ii, if you do not want to get scammed, please do not rent from him, you will get cleaned. I didn't quite understand why he was asking me how is staking going and how big are my stakes, now I do understand why he asked that.

Not advertising, but this person - http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=1078826 is legit, I've rented an account 2 times from him, 1 time I needed to prolong the rental and I showed him my winnings/wealth on the account which was near to 1.1B and he didn't scam me, although I didn't know that he could back then.

EDIT: Not saying that everyone who is renting an account is a scammer, but there's always a possibility of that to happen, don't loose your millions like I did, be aware that you can always get DC'ed from the account if the account owner sends an appeal to jagex, you will not get back your money/winnings.

Sometimes they don't even have to appeal, it can just get locked.

When you 'rent' an account, you must understand that it's not legit - it's account sharing and sometimes it's out of your control.

Yes, I know, but in my particular case, I got DC'ed, account got locked and after few minutes it was unlocked already and ofcourse the PW was changed.

but good to know, i only ever put low amounts when staking on an account, and never put my whole bank on one
